The Distorted was obtainable by reaching level 20 on the police team in OG Season 3. Alongside that you needed to buy it for 5k cash.
Supply is widely distributed — no single holder owns enough to register as a hoarder.
Distorted is currently resting at ~140 monthly unique, this is lower than every single "uncommon" cosmetic, and similar to most "rare" cosmetics. Distorted is similar in rarity to other "rare" rims such as Diamond Engrave and Bonded, which all have a similar monthly unique to it, and are found in about the same frequency while trading. Additionally, rims such as Sawblade, Peppermint, and Gunfire are all much easier and more common to encounter in trading compared to a rim like Distorted, and these rims are all listed as "uncommon."
