The Dark Matter Drift was obtainable in Season 31: "Freestyle" by reaching level 7.
While for a while Dark Matter was a pretty decent drift, now its similar to every other minimal demanded cosmetic at its price range. While its better than most other minimal demanded cosmetics, it doesn't really compare to any of the very low demand ones (such as Orange Pixel, Pixel or Gold).
