The Shell Classic was added in early August of 2022 as a part of the Safe Revamp update. It was obtainable with a 3% chance from the Tier 5 Safe (also known as "Legendary Safe"), which costed 100K per safe. The Shell Classic is the first ever vehicle to be included in a safe, however it was replaced by the Manta in late September of 2024. The Shell Classic is the first safe exclusive vehicle to be made limited (alongside the Fiasco). The Shell Classic is the real life equivalent of the Shelby Cobra 427.
