The Proto-8 is an unobtainable seasonal vehicle in Jailbreak. It was added in early February of 2023, and was a part of Season 14: "For the Champions". The vehicle was free upon completion of Level 10 of the season. The Proto-8 is based on the Porsche Mission R, it is also an electric car (similarly to the previous seasonal Porsche, the Icebreaker). This is the sixth electric vehicle in-game (after the Model 3, Roadster, Cybertruck, Icebreaker and Desert Crawler), this is also the fourth Porsche to be added to the game (after the Posh, Boxer and Icebreaker). The vehicle was modeled by SpeedQue3n.
Proto-8 hasn't exactly fallen off in demand, but it hasn't been doing as well as before, which makes it unworthy of excellent. Meanwhile, Laser Cannon has been rocking the market with its insane pulls, heavily overshadowing Proto-8. Despite that, Proto-8 overpays haven't been as bad as pre-hype. This makes Proto-8 too weak to stay at excellent, but it's still performing better than Power1 and similar to Javelin.
Duped Proto-8, while performing noticeably worse than the clean variant, is still in need of another rise. It continues to perform amazingly in trading, consistently getting 37-38M offers (or more), which puts it well above its current value, meaning it needs to rise in value.
Supply is widely distributed — no single holder owns enough to register as a hoarder.
